* This page is dedicated to so many great selections of coffee and food I have eaten in my life time ... which is a lot because I drink too much coffee for my own good and indulge in enormous amounts of food on a daily basis! I do try to have some organization on the page as places are organized alphabetically by states and names of the coffee shops and restaurants.
Coffee Shops
Minnesota
Nina's Coffee Cafe
This place is a writer's dream! I instantly fell in love with the historical building, reading nooks, books overflowing from the walls, and of course, great coffee!!! I am looking forward to so many other great trips there.
Spyhouse Coffee
I went to the Spyhouse Coffee on Broadway - definitely a place I will be going back to again. I love the lighting, the coffee, and after looking at their website I think I might need a t-shirt!!!
South Dakota
Coffea Roasterie & Espresso Bar
Two different shop locations, one in downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota and the other located on Louise Avenue, and I think I'm in love with both spots which doesn't happen very often! 'Cause sometimes you feel partial to one location ... maybe it's just me ... Regardless, it was fun for me because I love visiting local coffee shops and I got to see both locations in one weekend. If anyone is ever in Sioux Falls, I would highly recommend this coffee shop. And if you get the chance to visit, you should get an Iced Mocha - there is no other iced mocha like theirs, as far as my roommate and I can find!

Restaurants
Minnesota
Black Coffee and Waffle Bar
I ate here for the first time this past weekend in March with my boyfriend and we left with undoubtedly full stomachs. The two waffles we tried were the Fat Andrew (peanut butter, powdered sugar, cinnamon, bananas, and whipped cream) and the Naughty Waffle (strawberries, bananas, blueberries, almond butter, granola, and whipped cream). I would recommend people in the area to try it out at least once, if only for the hipster experience!
South Dakota
Mama Lada's
This is my kind of restaurant - I like Mexican food, but nothing to spicy and these enchilada's hit the spot! I had chips and homemade salsa and then ordered the full (chicken) enchilada - the perfect amount of spice. I'm beginning to crave enchilada's as I type this out at 12:45 am! If you are ever in need of a place to go to dinner in Sioux Falls, South Dakota this is where I would point you to!
